Sports

Training in Sports is provided to the students to help them in developing their personalities. During 2005-2006 Institute won Overall Championship Trophy in the National Sports Meet for the Blind, held in New Delhi by winning 5 Gold medals 3 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal. Two of our athletes alongwith Shri Vishaw Jit Head of computer section, were selected to represent India in the International Sports Meet -- ‘Disability Sports England’ organised by International Paralympic Committee at Manchester Sports Arena U.K. in June 2005. They won 1 Gold Medal and 1 Silver Medal in Javelin Throw and Shotput Throw respectively.

Our students bagged 21 Gold Medals, 10 Silver Medals and 5 Bronze Medals and Overall Championship Trophy in B1 Category in the National Sports Meet for the Blind held at Panchkula in December 2010.
